Group Municipality Declaration of Participation in a Buying Group

As a compliancy requirement, our members need to publicly state their intent to participate with a buying group. This is not a competition or opportunity to sell.

The Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) requires the following from a procurement entity related to its participation with a buying group:

"A procurement entity shall publish a notice of its participation with the buying group at least annually on one of the tendering websites or systems designated by its Party. That notice shall direct potential suppliers to the buying group tender notices website if it is different from its Party’s tendering websites or systems."

The Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities (SARM) has established a purchasing relationship with Sourcewell, based in Staples Minnesota, through the Canoe Procurement Group of Canada. The relationship is intended to provide access to selected Sourcewell openly competed for contracts, to Canoe Procurement Group of Canada's represented associations, which include SARM and its members, rural and urban local governmental organizations located in all provinces and territories in Canada. RM No. 190 - Gravel Crushing & Stockpiling

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is an invitation by the RM of Dufferin No. 190 (RM), to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Gravel Crushing Services. The intended outcome of this competitive RFP is for the RM to establish a compliant contract for the purposes of Gravel Crushing and Stockpiling for the RM.

The RFP may result in the award of one Agreement. The maximum initial term of the Agreement is intended to be for a period of 1 year, with an option in favour of the RM to extend the term for 1 additional period of 2 years for a combined 3-year total term.

Quotations shall only be accepted from suppliers that maintain a full heavy duty mechanical service workshop, and full parts and accessory supply shop within a 100 kilometre radius of the Village of Rush Lake.

Basic Specs for Supply of New Motor Grader:

Supply of new motor grader to be FOB the RM No. 166 Workshop, 305 5th Street, Rush Lake, Saskatchewan on or before delivery date specified by supplier.  Tender to indicate delivery date and trade-in date.

- 14 foot moldboard c/w 2-foot, left-hand extension (total length = 16 feet), ¾ inch holes for blades/cutting edges.
- Reversing fan
- Quotations to include full options for the motor grader including “deluxe” cab and accessories (radio shall be am/fm capable and hands-free blue-tooth compatible).  Options should include but not be limited to:  air conditioning, rear window defroster, minimum of three rear-view mirrors (2 exterior, 1 interior), floor mat(s), cup holder(s), auxiliary circuit(s), full-gauge/warning cluster(s), cruise control, and slope meter.
