Video on Demand Content License – Burmeister Productions – ACAN

It is the intention of SaskTel to establish an agreement with Burmeister Productions from Grasswood, Saskatchewan to provide licensing of quality video products for use in its delivery of community-based programming through its free Video-on-Demand (VOD) platform for its maxTVTM Entertainment Services subscribers. 

The period of the agreement is expected to be effective from April 19, 2026 to April 18, 2031.

Burmeister Productions provides a variety of short “how to” videos from cooking to various home and garden projects as well as backgrounds for SaskTel’s community-based programming with delivery of 3-5 videos per week. Kitchen facilities, supply of ingredients and cooking skills are required as well as filming in HD and encoding to SaskTel’s specifications with electronic delivery via file transfer protocol. Burmeister Productions are the only known supplier providing this form of Saskatchewan produced content.

Suppliers that consider themselves able to meet the above specified requirements and able to provide the services described herein can challenge this action by submitting a written statement of capabilities that clearly demonstrates how they meet these requirements.  Parties interested in further details or to indicate that they would like to contest this award notification should email the written statement to Lyndsey Pankratz, Corporate Services Manager, and SaskTel’s Procurement office by February 17, 2026 at 4:45 p.m. CST (“submission deadline”). Please issue questions and responses via email only to lyndsey.pankratz@sasktel.com and corporateserv.contracts@sasktel.com.  Voice mails may not be returned in time.  All statements of capabilities received will be reviewed to determine if they are capable of meeting the requirements.

If no written statements of capabilities are received, or if SaskTel determines based on its evaluation that no other supplier is capable of meeting SaskTel’s requirements, SaskTel intends to proceed to award to Burmeister Productions and no further procurement process will be undertaken.

Please note any challenges received after the submission’s deadline will not be considered.
