The gravel hauling and surfacing for the municipality will include loading, hauling and spreading approximately 10,000 yards of ¾” gravel from any/all of the above listed gravel pits.
The municipality may need spot hauling for larger sized gravel, such as pit run, which would need to be supplied from the hauler or another source. (The municipality has access to local supply.)
The municipality may require more spot gravelling once the municipal haul is complete. The tender must indicate if the company is willing to return to do the said spot hauls to surface as approved by Council. If there is a separate price for additional work after the municipal haul is complete, please indicate with the information provided as requested above.
The gravel hauling and surfacing must be complete by July 31, 2026. No gravel is to be placed on municipal roads after this date unless approved by a member of Council.
