The Saskatchewan Cancer Agency’s Population Health Department is responsible for the province’s organized cancer screening programs (BreastCheck, CervixCheck, Colorectal, and LungCheck) and related prevention and health promotion initiatives. The department works closely with the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA), eHealth Saskatchewan, and the Ministry of Health to plan, implement, and provide population-based programs that improve early detection of cancers.
As part of this work, the Agency is leading the provincial transition of CervixCheck to HPV Primary Screening and Self-Sampling, a major initiative that will transform how cervical cancer screening is delivered in Saskatchewan. This initiative includes new clinical guidelines, laboratory testing platforms, IT system changes, provider and public education, and new operational processes to support client navigation and follow-up.
To successfully coordinate this complex transformation across multiple organizations, SCA is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and integrate the various project components, ensuring alignment across clinical, laboratory, IT, and community engagement workstreams, and supporting readiness for provincial implementation through 2026–27.
