This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Rural Municipality of Edenwold No. 158 (“the RM”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Enginering Services for the road reconstruction of Range Road 2185 from Highway 46 north for a total of 1.6km.

The existing paved road is comprised of an asphalt surface with base coarse granular below and possibly some sub-base granular, the consultant should confirm the depth of the existing structure through cores drilled later this fall.  The MOH performed a traffic count in 2022 which saw an ADT of 430 with 282 being Truck ADT.  Of those 282 trucks 33% are tandem, 25% single trailer and 8% being multi trailer combos.

The current road top width is approximately 8.6m wide including shoulders.

Proponents are requested to provide engineering services related to detailed design (cost estimates for budgeting (Nov.)), tendering, contract administration and construction inspection of the works.
