This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by SaskTel to prospective Suppliers to submit proposals for the provision of Provincial Demand On-Site Technical Services, as further described below (the “Deliverables”):   

 This RFP takes place within the Province of Manitoba to provide customer on-site Mitel support. In the event that SaskTel cannot remotely diagnose and repair troubles with Mitel equipment there is a need for on-site support.

This is a hands and feet support role. The vendor technician will be required to contact a SaskTel support personnel immediately upon arrival of the customer's premise
Vendor technicians do not require previous Mitel support experience. SaskTel support will assist the on-site technician through the trouble resolution process
Vendor technicians will require a basic technical skill-set in being able to identify Mitel equipment
Vendor technicians will be required to have a cellular phone with high resolution video and photo capabilities for video collaboration. The vendor technician will require a data plan to cover the costs of these video and voice conversations.
Vendor technicians do not require to tools or a laptop
Vendor technicians must be able to travel throughout the province of Manitoba

The current confirmed sites where vendor technicians will be required to provide Mitel support are:       

Gillam -  1064 KM north of Winnipeg
Elphinstone - 275 KM west of Winnipeg
Edwin - 114 KM west of Winnipeg

These are the 3 confirmed sites, with the potential to add another 8 locations in the near future.

Vendors must be COR/SECOR safety certified.

Participation process:

Suppliers interested in participating in this opportunity must do so via SaskTel’s e-Sourcing tool with Ariba.

Suppliers not yet registered with SaskTel’s Ariba domain, must first complete the Self Registration process by clicking on the link provided below.  Suppliers not registered and approved with SaskTel’s Ariba e-sourcing tool, will not be able to participate in this opportunity.

Note: Suppliers with an active Ariba Commerce Cloud account not previously registered with SaskTel, must ensure they login using their existing Ariba account ID to register with SaskTel as the first step in the registration process.
