Intent:   The primary objective of this process is to solicit suppliers and or manufacturers who wish to confirm their interest in supplying SaskEnergy Incorporate and TransGas Limited with various Horizontal Filter Separators in year 2015. Qualified Proponents will receive the Request for Proposal for each Horizontal Filter Separator required in 2016. Please indicate your intention to participate in the above subject inquiry

Scope of Work:  The Filter Separator shall be a Horizontal 2-Phase Separator with instrumentation package.  The units shall be designed and guaranteed to remove 98% of all solid particles and liquid droplets one (1) micron and larger from the gas stream with an overall efficiency of 99.5% by weight assuming normal distribution of particle size, when operated within 10% and 100% of rated capacity.

The design and construction of the vessels shall conform to the requirements of CSA B51, Boiler, Pressure Vessel and Piping Code, and the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.  In addition, the design and construction shall conform to the requirements of the Technical Safety Authority of Saskatchewan (TSASK) as detailed in The Boiler and Pressure Vessel Act and The Boiler and Pressure Vessel Regulations.
