The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) has a requirement for the provision of Philips IntelliSpace Perinatal system.  (Centralized Fetal Monitoring/Phillips ISP).  The purpose of this Advance Contract Award Notice (ACAN) is to signal the SHA’s intention to award a contract for these goods and/or services to Phillips Canada Ltd. 1875 Buckhorn Gate, 5th Floor Mississauga, Ontario, Canada L4W 5P1. It is the SHA’s intention to award the proposed contract for the period of 5 years, with an option to extend for one year. Before awarding a contract, however, the SHA is providing other suppliers with the opportunity to demonstrate that they are capable of satisfying the requirements set out in this Notice, by submitting a statement of capabilities during the ten business day posting period.

REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION

This project includes surveillance and archival (Trace Only) implementation of IntelliSpace Perinatal System 867061.  UPC code:  884838084483.  Commodity code (HS.HTS):  8523510000.  Also included in the contract: one MXU0195 OBTV PS custom and A01 OBTV; MXU0195 OBTV PS Custom S01 ADTinterfaceSTD; MXU0195 OBTV PS Custom TO8 RD Server/Client Consulting.  The system must allow fetal monitor tracings which are currently in progress in the unit to be visualized on centrally located hardware.  Must have 3 monitors to allow for monitoring from the Labour and Birth main nurses’ station, triage nursing station and the Obstetrician’s call room. Although this system is the entry level system it may be expanded to include electronic charting.
