SaskWater identified a need to add a second Actiflo clarifier unit to the Meadow Lake water treatment plant for capacity, safety and maintenance reasons.  SaskWater requires engineering services to facilitate the design and construction of a second Actiflo system in the water treatment plant in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. With the RFP, SaskWater invites prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Engineering Consulting Services for Meadow Lake Water Treatment Plant - Actiflo System as further described in the RFP Particulars. 

The scope of the work of the engineering consulting services agreement  includes, but not limited to:

• Pre-selections of Actiflo supplier;
• Design Actiflo system including piping, pumps. instrumentations, electrical and mechanical work and building modification (and/or new addition) required to house second Actiflo system and chemical storage;
• Pre-qualification, tendering and hiring a general contractor for the construction work;
• Construction support and supervision; and,
• System commissioning.

Construction is to be substantially complete by December 30, 2022, and total project completion must be reached by March 30, 2023.

Note: As-built drawings will be provided to the proponent upon request to RFP Contact.

Proponents should submit one (1) electronic copy in PDF format of their proposal.  The subject line of the email should contain the RFP number, company name and competition title.  Email should contain name and contact number of the proponent’s contact.

One (1) email including attachments, should not be larger than 25 MB or it may not be successfully transmitted.  It is recommended to send one email; however, if sending multiple emails, provide clear instructions on how the submission is intended to be integrated.  If multiple emails are submitted, all emails must be received by the RFP Contact by the Submission Deadline or the response will be rejected.
