Wadena intends to engage a proponent that will design and construct an addition on Lot 6 Block
13 Plan P1509 to the Fire Hall located at 86 1st Street NE (lots 4-5), for a stipulated price. The 36’
x 71’ addition will include upgrades to the existing roof structure, dual front and rear bay doors
for pull through of trucks, separator pit, tanker fill/truck wash, storage and lockers for turnout
gear, and connection/openings to the existing truck bays which will better serve the needs of our
fire department. Proponents will achieve Stage 1 (Shell & Foundations) completion by May 30th,
2019, and Substantial completion by August 1st, 2019.

Fax and email inquiries will be accepted up to and including 2:00 pm, Saskatchewan Time, Friday,
September 6th, 2018. All inquiries must be in writing, no telephone inquiries will be accepted.

Any changes to this RFP as well as the response(s) to all inquiries received will be issued in the
form of written Addenda. The final written Addenda will be issued no later than 4:00pm
Saskatchewan Time, Friday, September 6, 2018.

RFP Closing is 2:00 pm Saskatchewan Time, September 21, 2018. For RFP closing purposes the
official time of receipt of Proposals shall be as determined by the Town Office.
