Consultant for Executive Director and Executive Evaluations -- 2025-05-01

The Saskatchewan School Boards Association (SSBA) is a non-profit, nonpartisan, voluntary membership organization, offering board development opportunities, advocacy, and services. The SSBA provides leadership and support for our members as a unified voice of Saskatchewan’s 27 democratically elected public, Catholic and Francophone school boards.

The services include the requirement to conduct both SSBA Executive Director and SSBA Executive evaluations prior to October 2025. This includes a review of the performance of the Executive Director and Executive in carrying out their respective roles and responsibilities. The evaluation process provides for an evaluation of organizational results against planned outcomes while identifying opportunities for improvement and opportunities to celebrate achievements.

The purpose of the RFP is to engage a credible, independent third-party to conduct the SSBA Executive Director and Executive evaluation processes in 2025. This includes collecting feedback from relevant stakeholders, creating a written assessment report and facilitating a discussion with Executive membership that includes:

  • The evaluation process
  • Evaluation context,
  • Assessments relative to each of the criteria,
  • An examination of progress made relative to any growth goals or redirections identified in the previous year’s evaluation,
  • Identification of any growth goals if deemed appropriate, and
  • A conclusion followed by appropriate signatures and dates.
