The Rural Municipality of Lajord No. 128 is requesting bids from interested parties wishing to custom crush 7/8-inch standard road gravel and stockpile the material in the North Pit located at SE 13-16-16 W2.

The scope of the work is to crush a minimum of 60,000 cubic yards of 7/8 inch gravel in size to road standard specifications. 

Material is located in water so will require a pump to remove water prior to crushing.

Submission

Sealed Bids marked “Gravel Crush Tender – 2025” will be received until 2:00pm, Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at the office of the Rural Municipality of Lajord No. 128.  Bids can be submitted in person, by mail, or email to cao@rmlajord.ca.

Bids shall be submitted on the separate Bid Form as provided, complete with the bidder’s legal status and business address.  The Bidder shall provide a price for each item of work identified in the Bid Form; the work shall be measured and paid for on a unit price basis.  The unit prices shall exclude the Goods and Services Tax, which shall be an extra where applicable in the total bid price.  The Bid Form shall be signed by a duly authorized official and in the case of a corporation shall be sealed with the corporate seal.
