The Town of Wakaw invites sealed tenders from qualified and eligible bidders for the completion of accessibility retrofits to two facilities, one being a multi-use facility. The facilities are located near one another.

Scope of Work

Facility One - Wakaw Rec Centre (includes bowling alley and curling rink):

Replacement of main entrance door and installation of power door opener.
Reconfigure upstairs washrooms to make a fully accessible washroom and one non-accessible washroom.
Reconfigure downstairs washrooms to make a fully accessible washroom and additional public washrooms.
Reconfigure former curling rink washroom to make a fully accessible single washroom.

Facility Two - Municipal building:

Replacement of main entrance door and installation of a power door opener.

Timeline - Work must be completed by April 30th, 2026.
