Property for Tender -- VILLMP-01-2025

Scope of Tender

  • 15.23 metres by 33.50 metres (0.126 acres) property with and old derelict building, located in the Village of Meath Park at Lot 15 Blk/Par 2 Plan BJ2537 Ext 0 (1 Main Street). 

 Knowledge of Property

  • This property is to be sold on an “as is” basis. There are no warranties offered or implied on the condition of the property.  Bidders should visit the property and make allowances in their bids for such conditions as in the sole opinion of the bidder.  If you wish to view the property, please contact the Village of Meath Park office at office@villageofmeathpark.com or 306-929-2020.  Please DO NOT view the property without contacting the Village office to make an appointment for viewing.

Purchasers Responsibility

  • The purchaser has ninety (90) days from the day the title is change into their name to have the building demolished and the restoration of the property completed to the satisfaction of the Village of Meath Park.  All applications for permits must be completed and the required fees for the demolition (as per bylaw 11-2018) of this property are to be paid prior to the work commencing. 
  • The purchaser has twelve (12) months from the date the demolition is completed to build a new building on the lot.  All applications for permits must be completed and the required fees for building on this property are to be paid prior to the work commencing. 
  • The new property owner is responsible for all expenses associated with the transfer of title.

Submission of Tender

  • Bidders shall submit the Tender in a sealed envelope, clearly marked VILLMP-01-2025 Property for Tender.

  • The Village shall receive tenders at the location and by the method specified above on or before 4:00 pm Friday May 16th, 2025.
  • The Village does not accept facsimile, electronic mail, or other unsealed Bids.  All bids received in this manor will be disqualified.

Acceptance of Bid

  • The Village is not obligated to accept the highest or any tender and may reject all bids.

Evaluation of Bids

  • The Village will review and evaluate all valid submitted bids at the next regular meeting of Council after the bid due date.
