Repairs & Modifications to Tunnel Control Structure #5 at Gardiner Dam -- WSA-2022OE-0005
The scope of the work is to provide contracting services to:
(a) Complete Care of Water: installation of cofferdam and dewater the stilling basin
(b) Form and install new chute blocks
(c) Form and install new baffle blocks
(d) Excavation of existing rip rap and subgrade. Disposal of excess material off site.
(e) Install new and salvaged rip rap
(f) Complete repairs to existing concrete as shown on the drawings
(g) Remove the cofferdam, rewater the basin
(h) Site restoration
WSA is a Treasury Board Crown corporation within the meaning of The Crown Corporations Act, 1993 (Saskatchewan) that is governed by The Water Security Agency Act (Saskatchewan). WSA is responsible for water management in the Province of Saskatchewan, which includes managing the Province’s water supply, protecting water quality, ensuring safe drinking water and the treatment of wastewater, reducing flood and drought damage, protecting aquatic habitat, and managing 72 dams and related supply channels.
