The objective of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to identify an executive search firm to assist the Health Quality Council in the successful recruitment of a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).  The successful search firm will work under the direction of the HQC Board of Directors. The HQC board would like to present an offer of employment to the selected candidate by April 1, 2019.

Proposed Scope of Services

• Work with HQC board to identify executive skill set for the new CEO and updated CEO job description as required.
• Conduct a broad market search for suitable candidates.
• Manage submission of applicants.
• Design CEO assessment/evaluation process.
• Provide HQC board with a short-list of qualified candidates.
• If directed by the board, participate in interview process with HQC board.
• Conduct candidate reference checks at the direction of the board and provide summary of completed references by applicant.
• Conduct thorough education and background checks on candidate(s) selected by the board.

• RFP issued January 18, 2019
• Deadline for receipt of questions January 25, 2019
• Submission of Intent to Respond form January 29, 2019
• Responses to questions provided January 31, 2019
• RFP closes February 7, 2019
• Evaluation of proposals February 12, 2019
• Final selection February 18, 2019
