Tenders are invited from General Contractors for the Construction of Northern Landfill Site Contract A - Clearing. Sealed Tenders will be received at the office of the Consulting Engineer up to 2:00 p.m., C.S.T. Friday, September 20th, 2024 and will be opened immediately thereafter.

The work includes:

.1         Clearing of approximately 51 ha of land and access road to facilitate the development of a regional landfill;

.2         De-limbing, cutting, sorting, and stacking of merchantable timber within the site at designated locations for future community use;

.3         Disposal of all limbs, branches, and non-salvageable timber by acceptable burning practices;

.4         Grubbing of site to remove all stumps, roots, and organic matter to stockpile within the site;

.5         Provision of roads for ingress and egress to the locations of all work required.

General Contractors may obtain a digital copy of the Contract Documents from the office of the Consulting Engineer.

Each Tender must be on the forms provided and be accompanied by a certified cheque or bid bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the tendered amount.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Tenders and will not necessarily accept the lowest tender.
