SCOPE OF SERVICE

The Scope of Service (hereinafter referred to as the "Work") involves the supply of goods, materials and services meeting the description and requirements noted in the tender document. Unless otherwise expressly stated by the supplier, quoted prices are deemed to include the costs of managing all waste streams which includes provision of waste containers, hauling all regularly generated solid, non-hazardous waste and recyclables services for Gold Horse Casino (hereinafter referred to as "GHC") in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. The Bidder shall furnish all labor and materials including truck, cleaning materials, tools and equipment, and shall include in its Bid Price all applicable taxes for such work, services and materials plus overhead and profit necessary for the total completion and acceptance of Work.

Special Instructions to All Bidders

• Must have a Certificate of Insurance or letter from an insurance company in good standing confirming the bidder’s ability to obtain general liability coverage not less than two (2) million dollar ($2,000,000), should the bidder be awarded a contract.
• Must be fully licensed for waste management services by the Government of Saskatchewan or Alberta equivalent and registered with Saskatchewan Justice or Alberta equivalent;
• Vendor’s employees serving Gold Horse Casino must have a valid Saskatchewan or Alberta Driving License.
• Vendor’s employees must be 19 years or older to be on the property of Gold Horse Casino and cannot play at the casino during work.
• Must have at least three (3) references of good standing for the same or similar work in Gold Horse Casino area.
• Must be a registered member with Workers Compensation Board (WCB) of Saskatchewan or Alberta.
• Seek continual improvement in GHC resource use and assist GHC in increasing diversion (reduce, reuse, and recycle);
• Optimize current hauling, garbage disposal and recycling services;
• Develop a detailed tracking, reporting and invoicing system;
• Collaborate with GHC Facilities staff;
• Must have all necessary equipment to perform waste pick up and removal including truck and cleaning materials, tools and equipment;
•  Will be required to clean the bins containers and nearby floor for each trip;
• It is a preference of GHC to have all bins color coded or labelled for Garbage, Cardboard Recycling and Other Recycling (Plastics or Glass)
