The Rural Municipality of Britannia No. 502 (municipality) is requesting proposals from qualified engineering firms for provision of engineering services to the municipality. The work will involve providing advice and recommendations based on day to day requirements of the municipality, as well as recommendations on upcoming municipal capital and development projects. Other engineering services will also be required from time to time on road construction, water and wastewater treatment systems, water and sewer lines for the Hamlets of Greenstreet and Hillmond, as well as landfill and transfer station issues.

Proposals will be evaluated by staff and Council of the municipality. During the evaluation process, the municipality reserves the right, where it may serve the municipality’s best interest, to request additional information or clarification from submitters, hold interviews, or to allow corrections of errors or omissions.

Interviews will be held with the selected short list of consultants during the month of August.  It is anticipated that the selection process will be completed by the August 24, 2016 Council meeting. Following the notification of the selected firm, it is expected that a contract will be executed between both parties to commence on September 1, 2016.

Ten (10) copies of the firm’s proposal must be submitted no later than 4:00 P.M. local time, August 9, 2016 to the attention of:
