Prequalification request - Inquiry No. SX/6483 – Fire and Life Safety Services

Scope of Work:  SaskEnergy requires a contractor to develop a maintenance and inspection strategy for all necessary labour, material and equipment to perform Inspection, Testing and Maintenance Services for Fire Safety Systems at SaskEnergy facilities in Saskatoon, Regina and Emerald Park.  The Contractor must comply with all applicable codes and standards i.e. CAN/ULC 536, CAN/ULC 561, NFPA 25 etc.   Company and lead technician must hold a valid CFAA certification.

Mandatory requirements for this prequalification:

• Must be COR certified
• Must be Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) certified
• Technicians working on SaskEnergy premises must have fire alarm & sprinkler technician license #’s as provided by City of Regina and City of Saskatoon
• References – Must provide reference(s) for similar services
• Provide 24 hour on call service – Must provide reference(s) where organizations have utilized these after hour on call services
• Provide 2 hour response time for sprinkler emergencies
• Provide 2 hour response time for fire alarm emergencies
