RFP 8381: Standard Long Term Care Facility Spaces and Services within the municipal boundaries of the City of Regina

Project Description: This Request for Proposal (RFP) is an invitation by the Government of Saskatchewan (GOS), through the Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement (SBP) and on behalf of the Ministry of Health (HE0) and the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA), which together form the Authority, to prospective Proponents to provide Submissions for either

- the provision of Standard Long Term Care (LTC) Spaces and Standard LTC Services within the municipal boundaries of the City of Regina, or
- the provision of space and facilities to accommodate delivery of Standard LTC Services within the municipal boundaries of the City of Regina to be provided by the SHA, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A).

The Authority is seeking to acquire 375 Standard LTC beds through for-profit and/or non-profit sectors within the municipal boundaries of the City of Regina, Saskatchewan from one or more Proponents, using the RFP process set out in this document, to find the solution that provides the best value to the Saskatchewan health care system, while achieving required levels of quality and service for residents.  The Authority reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to procure more or less than 375 beds through this RFP.

The Standard LTC Spaces and Standard LTC Services may be located at the same facility or among multiple facilities within the municipal boundaries of the City of Regina. Proponents may submit a proposal for some, or all the spaces. However, Proponents musts include a minimum number of 40 spaces per location and preference may be given to a Proponent who is able to provide 60 or more spaces per location.
