SCOPE OF WORK

The work shall consist of supplying and spreading road traffic gravel as per Schedule A to the R.M. of Meadow Lake No. 588 in the Divisions as identified in Section 2 – Bid Form. Gravel supply will be paid on a cubic yard basis and shall include gravel screening and crushing, stockpiling, loading and hauling to the R.M. from the contractors’ source pit, spreading approximately 2500 cubic yards of gravel per Division at an average spread rate of 110 cubic yards per mile over approximately 20 miles of municipal roadway in each division.

All quantities, haul distances, spread rates and roadway lengths are approximate.

Acceptance of gravel is at the sole discretion of the R.M.

Spreading of traffic gravel will require belly dump or clam shell trailers only.
