Saskatoon Long-Term Care - Community Capacity -- REOI-80009162025
PURPOSE
The purpose of this document is to identify potential qualified vendors for the provision of up to 60 beds for specialized (ABI, bariatric, under 65, etc.) long-term care and standard short stay care services for Saskatoon and surrounding area, up to 50 kilometers, that can commence providing these services within or around 12 months of closing date. Preference will be given to proponents where the home is located within the city of Saskatoon.
BACKGROUND
The SHA has made significant progress in expanding long-term care capacity in the Saskatoon area. This work is creating new opportunities for residents to receive the right care in the right environment, while also helping to improve patient flow across the health system. Continued investment in long-term and short-stay care will enhance access, quality, and sustainability of services for Saskatoon and surrounding communities.
