Saskatchewan Cancer Agency ("SCA") invites proposals from qualified full service Design and Engineering consultant firms for the renovation of a Medical Linear Accelerator (LINAC) bunker located at the Allan Blair Cancer Centre in Regina.  The design, engineering and construction work to be completed within 11 months of entering into a definitive contract with the successful proponent under this RFP.  The removal of existing, supply and installation of a new LINAC will be by separate 3rd party contract administred by SCA.  The consultant is required to design and engineer the space in strict accordance with the vendor Product Planning Guide (PPG) and  Designers’ Desk Reference (DDR) and Canadian Nuclear Safety Commision (CNSC) regulations.  The intent of this RFP is to form an agreement with the Consultant to develop contract documents and provide contract administration services for design, engineering and construction administration of the bunker and console space for the installation of a new LINAC.
