The City of North Battleford, Saskatchewan, is seeking proposals from professional asphalt installation companies to undertake a partial road reconstruction on the Riverside Drive, east of the intersection of the old Highway 16 bridges and Poundmaker Trail, to the North Battleford Golf and Country Club entrance.

The work will include grinding and recycling the existing sub-base, base and asphalt surface into a new base.  The grinding will be to a minimum depth of 305 mm (12 inches) with the material being compacted in place.  A new 8.3 metres (27 feet) wide and a 75 mm (3 inches) depth of hot asphalt surface will be laid on top of the newly compacted surface.   The new asphalt surface height will match the existing patch asphalt surface where it abuts to those existing surfaces.

All interested bidders for the 2021 Riverside Drive Partial Road Reconstruction RFP should register with Mr. Dustin MacDonald by email.  Any questions received, and the associated responses will be sent to those registered via email. Any question must be asked a minimum of three (3) days before the closing of the RFP.

Contractors bidding on the 2021 Riverside Drive Partial Road Reconstruction RFP, must submit three (3) copies of their proposal in a sealed envelope/package, clearly marked “2021 Riverside Drive Partial Road Reconstruction”, and must be received no later than 3:30 pm (CST), Thursday, March 4, 2021.
