WSA is soliciting quotations for the provision of LiDAR data for eight (8) areas in Saskatchewan to support various initiatives within WSA. In addition to data collected using traditional LiDAR sensors, WSA is also interested in bathymetric capable LiDAR sensor data to supplement the data for shallow-near-shore areas, where such data is available. Respondents are asked to quote both traditional airborne LiDAR and bathymetric LiDAR, where applicable, for each area. Data collection most take place before snow-on conditions, in October/November 2020, and delivery of all data is required before November 30, 2020.

WSA is a Treasury Board Crown corporation within the meaning of The Crown Corporations Act, 1993 (Saskatchewan) that is governed by The Water Security Agency Act (Saskatchewan).  WSA is responsible for water management in the Province of Saskatchewan, which includes managing the Province’s water supply, protecting water quality, ensuring safe drinking water and the treatment of wastewater, reducing flood and drought damage, protecting aquatic habitat, and managing 72 dams and related supply channels.
