TENDER FOR ROAD RECLAMATION

The Town of Regina Beach invites you to submit a tender for Road Reclamation of 275 lineal metres of municipal road. Town will be accepting tenders until 4:00 PM on Friday, July 30th, 2021. Existing Conditions:

The Roadway for reclamation is 275 lineal meters length x 7.3 meters width.  The existing road consists of nominally 75 mm of deteriorated asphalt surfacing over nominally 100mm of granular base course.

Contractor Scope of Work:

Breakup and mix existing surfacing structure to a depth of 100mm.  Moisture condition and compact to 98% Standard Proctor density.
Supply and spread asphalt millings such to create a final thickness of 100mm.
Apply to and uniformly mix Husky Reclamite to the asphalt millings.  Reclamite application rate to manufacturers recommended application rate and the job mix formula developed by the contractor’s consultant.  Alternate products will be considered subject to review of supplier technical data and examples of projects where the product has been used successfully.
Shape to 2% crown and compact to 98% Standard Proctor density.
