The Saskatchewan Urban Municipalities Association (SUMA) and Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities (SARM) have established a purchasing relationship with Sourcewell based in Staples Minnesota through Rural Municipalities of Alberta (RMA). The relationship is intended to provide access to selected Sourcewell openly competed for contracts, to all SUMA and SARM members and associate members, MASH, and not for profit agencies throughout Saskatchewan. This contract as listed below is not intended to provide a solution to all procurement needs, but rather to add an option to reduce the administrative burden of procurement/bidding process.

SUMA, SARM, RMA, and Sourcewell are committed to the ongoing open competition process for this contract award, and as such will ensure that an open process is conducted a minimum of once every five years. The bidding process will primarily be the responsibility of Sourcewell with an RMA representative involved in the vetting process. This Notice of Planned Procurement (NPP) will result in adopting a contract solicited by Sourcewell under the rules and regulations of the New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWPTA), the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and The Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) for the procurement of Medium Duty and Compact Construction Equipment with Related Attachments, Accessories and Supplies.
