SaskPower intends to hire a General Service Contractor for a Poplar River Power Station, (PRPS), Unit 1 turbine-generator major overhaul in 2019. The PR1 High Intermediate Pressure (HIP) turbine, Low Pressure (LP), turbine, and generator will be disassembled, inspected and reassembled as part of this outage. The unit outage is planned for the fall of 2019. An overview of the planned schedule is included in the attachment to these Requirements and Specifications.  After the overhaul, Unit 1 will be returned to service with the next planned overhaul after 10 years operation.
