SaskTel Ad Hoc Research Supplier Competition
October/November 2018

The Government of Saskatchewan is seeking the services of one or more experienced market research firms to provide full-service research support to SaskTel and its subsidiaries for ad hoc, on demand primary research projects.

The scope of this proposal includes, but is not limited to ad hoc and on demand research primarily pertaining to the marketing of SaskTel and subsidiary products and services.

Interested firms must have a demonstrated ability and experience in:
• Carrying out full-service research solutions with the overarching role as strategic consultant.
• Research design, data collection, analysis, interpretation of results or insights, and delivery/presentation of results.
• Suppliers must demonstrate extensive experience in corporate research within private and public corporations, crown sector or other large corporations inside Saskatchewan and outside of Saskatchewan.

The contract is for a one-year term, with opportunities to renew for five (5) additional one-year terms. Any renewal will be subject to an annual client/supplier evaluations and mutual agreement. Renewals are authorized by Communications Services, Executive Council.

Companies interested in pursuing this account should submit a brief letter of intent (not exceeding two pages). The letter should specifically articulate why your experience and capabilities relative to the criteria above make your firm the best choice for this account. Please include two client references who can speak to your ability in the criteria above. Also, bidding firms must identify any intent to use subcontractors, and include a description of the scope of services. From the responses, a shortlist of firms will be developed. These firms will be asked to prepare a proposal and may be asked to demonstrate their capability in an in-person presentation to a selection panel.

Bidding suppliers must immediately disclose to Communications Services, Executive Council any actual or potential conflict of interest which currently exists or which may arise during the period of the competition. Bidding suppliers who are not registered with Communications Services must begin the registration process prior to submitting a letter of intent.
