This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by SaskTel to prospective Suppliers to submit proposals for the provision of Electrical and Mechanical Upgrades at our Gardiner Park Remote Switch Center.The work includes the Install of a new 72Kw (min) prime power rated diesel engine generator, the install of a new 400 amp automatic transfer switch, and the install of two SaskTel supplied air conditioning units.  Also included in the work is the replacement of utility service splitter, meter socket and splitter to meter socket conductors, LED Lighting retrofit.  The removal and replacement of residential fence & gate and the install of concrete slab for generator, condensing unit and walkway.
Please Note: For this project, SaskTel requires all Vendors to have current COR(Certification of Recognition) or SECOR (Small Employer Certification of Recognition) safety accreditation certificate. BONDING is required for this Project. There is a requirement for a 10% bid bond and letter of surety for bidding on this project. Bonding can also be in the form of an irrevocable letter of credit.
