The UMAAS - Best Practices Committee is inviting proposals from qualified consultants to develop a Best Practices Manual for Municipal Administrators. The manual will provide a practical guide to support municipal administrators in carrying out their duties effectively, while ensuring good governance, accountability, and efficient service delivery.

The goal of this project is to create a resource manual that:

• Defines best practices for municipal administration aligned with legislation and professional standards.
• Provides clear guidance on the roles and responsibilities of administrators.
• Enhances consistency, professionalism, and accountability in administrative practices.
• Serves as a training and reference resource for both new and experienced administrators.
