The purpose of this request for proposal (RFP) is to hire a Contractor to chip wood to a two-inch size. The tender will include but not necessarily be limited to supply the manpower and the machinery necessary to chip wood from the City of North Battleford’s WMF.

The RFP services are to include the following:

• To provide all machinery necessary to complete the work.
• To prepare the wood for chipping
• To remove steel and nails from the wood
• To store the wood in an area accessible to City employees.
• Ensure the recycling site is clean after the work has been completed.
• This cost is to include mobilization, any prep work on the wood, removing the steel and nails from the wood, and demobilization.
• To submit invoices to the City of North Battleford at the tendered amount, within sixty (60) days of chipping wood at the Landfill site.

The two (2) copies of the Proponent’s Proposal, in a sealed envelope/package, marked clearly “Concrete Recycling 09-20”, must be received no later than 2:00 pm (CST), Thursday October 8, 2020.  Faxed submissions will be accepted at 306-445-0411, providing a hard copy is received prior to awarding of RFP.  Late receipt of proposal packages will be returned unopened.
