INVITATION TO TENDER

The R.M. of McLeod No. 185 is accepting quotes/tenders for the following road project:

Clay Clap West of SW 11-20-09 W2 towards SE 11-20-09 W2– Approximately 0.75 miles.

This project involves the removal of 4 existing culverts and replacement with 4 new culverts, supplied by the R.M, clay capping with a 12” lift, ensuring the finished road top is at least 7.0 m wide with 3:1 shoulders.  Contractor must: ensure rocks are removed from clay and that the top 0.4 m of surface is rock free, compact to construction standards, haul and place rip rap, reshape and slope ditch, and perform all other associated work related to the installation/clay cap.  Clay supplied nearby.  Gravel will be supplied by the municipality. Excess stones to be picked and piled. A Grader will be required on-site.

It is expected that the contractor will supply and ensure that appropriate signage is maintained during construction phase.

                Work to be substantially completed by October 31, 2022.

CONDITIONS and INSTRUCTIONS:

Tender/Quote must be received at the R.M. office prior to 4:00 p.m. on May 24 , 2022.

Tender/Quote must indicate particulars with respect to the provision of any necessary items not listed in the tender.

Ensure offers are signed under seal, executed and dated, and are received by the R.M. of McLeod No. 185 located at 102 Main St. Neudorf, Saskatchewan at 4:00 p.m. local time on May 24, 2022.
Email submission of bids will be permitted, however the RM of McLeod cannot guarantee confidentiality of email documents and the bidder assumes all risk associated with these forms of communication. All electronic bids will be requited to provide copies of the bid bond.
Offers submitted after above time will be returned to Bidder unopened.
Offers will be opened on May 25, 2022 at 8:30 a.m.  Results will be provided to eligible bidders. 
The tender is subject to a mandatory pre-tender meeting and site visit to the proposed locations.
Qualifications: All qualified tenders will be accepted.    Tenderers must have General Liability Insurance Coverage of $5,000,000.00.  Evidence of insurance and Workers’ Compensation Coverage to accompany bid unless municipality already has information on file.
Tender Submissions:  Tenders that are unsigned, improperly signed, or sealed, conditional, illegible, obscure, contain arithmetical errors, erasures, alterations, or irregularities of any kind
