Semi-independent Living Program for Youth - Regina, SK -- RFP-CFP2025-01
This Request for Proposals is an invitation by the Government of Saskatchewan, Ministry of Social Services, Child and Family Programs to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the development and operation of a Semi-independent Living Program for youth. The program will be designed to serve youth ages 16-18 (21 with extension of services, Section 56 of The Child and Family Services Act), who are receiving services under The Child and Family Services Act. The program will provide support services including residential services to youth who are preparing to transition to independence and out of the care of CFP.
MSS, CFP provides prevention and intervention services to vulnerable families, children, and youth. When children and youth cannot remain safely at home with their parents or caregiver CFP must provide a safe alternative until they can be reunited with family, or an alternative resource is found. The SILP program aligns with the MSS’s mandate to protect vulnerable people such as youth from abuse and neglect, while also helping individuals meet their basic needs and engage in their community.
