The City of Melville is inviting qualified and reputable companies to submit proposals for the operation of the City’s Accessible Vehicle.

The Accessible Vehicle provides demand-responsive paratransit services within the city limits of the City of Melville. The City of Melville owns a fleet of one (1) low-floor Ford E450 Senator II Accessible Vehicle dedicated to paratransit services.  The paratransit service is a demand-responsive service operating from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, including statutory holidays and the first Saturday and Sunday of each month with 24 hours notice. Paratransit services is provided as a curb-to-curb service for Melville residents who meet the eligibility criteria established by the City of Melville. This project will be a two-year (2) term with an option to extend the contract by one year by the City if the City feels it is in its best interest.
