Description of the Work: The project involves the restructuring or reinforcement of the second floor joists and roof joists. Due to this work there will be renovations to approximately 386m2 of the main floor and 386m2 of the second floor. Existing flat roof joists and floor joists, replacement of suspended and gypsum board ceilings, mechanical and electrical renovations to accommodate the structural work. Work also includes removal of 1,450m2 of inverted BUR roofing and installation of SBS roofing. New boilers and ventilation will be added to serve 835m2 on the main and 835m2 on the second floor.

Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond / Certified Cheque in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the
tender and a Consent of Surety.

Subcontractors shall file their Bids directly to General Contractors.

The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.

SITE EXAMINATION
A site walk through has been scheduled for Thursday, December 9 between 7:15am and 8:45am to allow for small groups to accommodate social distancing.
All contractors must pre-register for the walkthrough by emailing Ward Peters at ward@1080architecture.com by December 8 at noon.
Confirm number in your party to attend walkthrough in email.
All companies are required to provide assurance that all employees entering a Prairie Spirit building during school hours have provided their
employer with a visual proof of vaccination or a weekly approved negative COVID-19 test result.
A schedule will be established based on first come first served and will be distributed the day before.
Please be advised that masks must be worn in the school and parties attending are responsible for their own masks.
No one will be allowed to enter if they have been out of the country and back in Canada for less than two weeks.
No one who is feeling unwell or carrying flu like symptoms will be permitted into the space.
Social distancing is to be maintained during the walkthrough.
Use of hand sanitizer or hand washing will be required upon entering and exiting the facility.
Contractors visiting the site will meet at the front entrance of the school.
