Remove and Replace Roofing - F.E. Holliday Water Treatment Plant

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit companies to provide materials and labor sufficient to remove and replace the existing roofing material.  The successful Proponent will be deemed the prime contractor in regards to the completion of this project for the City.

Site Inspection -June 11, 2019

RFP Close Date - June 19, 2019

RFP Decision Date - June 25 , 2019

Expected Substantial Completion - No later than October 15, 2019

The City reserves the right to modify the above schedule.  All changes will be made by addendum.

Interested proponents must attend a Site Visit on June 11, 2019, please notify contact in Section 2.2 for further details on times.

Proponents will be deemed to have carefully examined the RFP, including all attached Schedules and other attached documents prior to preparing and submitting a Proposal with respect to any and all facts.

Objectives for this RFP are as follows:

Remove and dispose of the existing roofing material while not compromising the operations of the facility.

Install new roofing material that will seal the building and provide protection from the elements for the next 20 to 35 years.

Ensure thennew roof system has proper drainage.  Currently, there are pools of water that sit on the roof due to no or poor slope in the existing roof material

Ensure there are no leaks; make repairs to any failing roof decking under the roofing material at a pre-determined per square foot price.
