Expressway Lighting Design -- COR7381

Submissions marked "COR7381  – Expressway Lighting Design " will be received by the City of Regina (see Part 1.5.1 of the RFP), no later than 2:00:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, on Wednesday August 27, 2025.

The City is seeking professional engineering services to support the renewal of aging expressway lighting infrastructure along high-speed roadways. This work is critical to maintain adequate nighttime visibility, improve roadway safety, and reduce the burden on maintenance crews who currently respond to frequent outages and deteriorating components.

The engineer will be responsible for assessing the identified expressway lighting segments, including both above-ground and underground infrastructure. Based on this assessment, they will develop a multi-year implementation plan aligned with the City’s available annual capital budgets. The engineer will also provide cost estimates for prioritized rehabilitation locations, complete detailed design work, material specifications, and construction-ready expressway rehabilitation engineered drawings.

Unless otherwise indicated, and subject to applicable exceptions and exclusions, this procurement is covered by:

Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement
Chapter 19 of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement
Article 14 of the New West Partnership Trade Agreement

There will not be a public opening however the list of firm names who submitted a response will be posted to the Sasktenders website.
