This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by SaskTel to prospective Suppliers to submit proposals for the provision of Demand Flat Deck Transportation Services, as further described below (the “Deliverables”) in the Ariba sourcing event.  This RFP is to solicit proposals from qualified Trucking and Logistics companies with experience and capabilities in commercial flat deck services.  The services required under this proposal consist of the provision of Less than Truck Load (LTL) Flat Deck Services of a demand nature, including large package and freight delivery Provincially, Inter-provincially and Internationally(Continental US) on a to and from basis.  A successful result will be to establish one or more contracts through competitive bid.  The  intent is to finalize a "Best Value" contract for SaskTel.  SaskTel will consider multiple criteria when determining the successful vendor for this opportunity, including the organization's ability to meet the requirements of the job.  The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
