The Town of Shaunavon invites qualified engineering firms to submit proposals for the pre-design, design, tender preparation, contract administration, and construction supervision of a new municipal fire hall. The facility will support the Shaunavon & District Fire Region (SDFR), providing emergency fire services to the town and surrounding municipalities.

The building will include a 70 x 170 ft shop with 20-ft ceilings, apparatus bays, a drive-through bay, meeting and training areas, air compressor system, kitchen amenities, showers, and specialized training and safety features.

The selected consultant will obtain all necessary permits and approvals, prepare tender documents, oversee construction, perform on-site supervision, and provide final reports and documentation in accordance with Provincial Building Standards and the National Building Code.

Proposals will be evaluated on price, experience of key personnel, project understanding and methodology, and proposed schedule. Mandatory requirements include registration as a Professional Engineer in Saskatchewan and permission to consult in Structural Buildings.
