Firewood at Moose Mountain Provincial Park -- 8157
The Ministry of Parks, Culture and Sport is seeking the services of a Supplier for felling, delimbing, bucking, splitting firewood, and delivery to designated wood yard for Moose Mountain Provincial Park. Moose Mountain Provincial Park requires a continuous supply of processed firewood for visitors enjoying the campgrounds.The firewood is to be cut to stove length (maximum 16”) and split if over 6” in diameter. One cord of loose pile processed firewood will be measured by the equivalent of 160 cubic feet which is equal to that of one cord. The work shall include felling, delimbing, bucking and splitting specified wood from designated standing Balsam Poplar, standing Trembling Aspen and/or birch timber located down Centre Lake road passed Gillis Lake Junction on the south side. Processed wood will be delivered to the park wood yard. Please be advised this area could be changed in the future based on supply and demand.
