The Rural Municipality of Excelsior No. 166 (RM 166) will be accepting quotations for the supply of one new or used tractor with the basic specifications shown below until 2:00 pm on January 28, 2026, at the office of the RM, 310 3rd Avenue, Rush Lake, SK.

QUOTATION SUBMISSION INFORMATION:

Quotations shall be received via an acceptable method on or before 2:00 pm on January 28, 2026 to the RM 166 municipal office, address and contact information noted below.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Quotations shall only be accepted from suppliers that maintain a full heavy duty mechanical service workshop, and full parts and accessory supply shop within a 100 kilometre radius of the Village of Rush Lake.

Basic Specs for Supply of New Motor Grader:

Must have front end loader
Must have creeper gear
Must have grapple
Must be between 150 – 170 hp
Must be mechanical front wheel drive
No trade-in
Must indicate all models available with a listing and price breakdown of any options that may be available.

The RM 166 reserves the right to accept or reject any and all quotations submitted should the quotations not meet the requirements of the municipality.  RM 166 further reserves the right to choose a make and model of its choosing regardless of price, and to provide preference towards a machine, make or model, or supplier with which RM 166 has had success in the past or is familiar with.  RM 166 shall examine the quotations, options and the pricing submitted pursuant to the terms of this RFQ under the strict assumption that the submissions are the “best and final” quotations, options and pricing.  Further requests for quotations, options and pricing requested from beyond the original submitted by suppliers would only be made by RM 166 for reasons of clarification or as a request for options or pricing not submitted by suppliers.
