Sealed proposals marked "COR4666 -  Northwest Leisure Center Whirlpool Replacement" will be received by the City of Regina, City Hall, Main Floor, Ambassadors Desk or 5th Floor, Purchasing Branch, 2476 Victoria Avenue, P.O. Box 1790, Regina, Saskatchewan, S4P 3C8, no later than 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, on Tuesday April 9, 2019.

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City of Regina (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Northwest Leisure Center (NWLC) Whirlpool Replacement.

The City seeks proposals for the design, fabrication, supply and delivery of a new stainless steel whirlpool to replace a fibreglass whirlpool at the NWLC.

The City intends that the proposed solution be a below grade whirlpool of similar size that utilizes the existing concrete support for cost efficiencies. However, the City is willing to review any alternative design solutions that may provide better maintenance and accessibility. The whirlpool design must comply with applicable provincial health and swimming/whirlpool regulations.

Proponents are allowed, and encouraged, to propose more than one whirlpool system that meets the requirements of this RFP. Multiple make and model proposals should be easy to reference and must include separate pricing forms.

On Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. C.S.T (SK), a pre-submission meeting will be held at the Northwest Leisure Center, 1127 Arnason Street, Regina Saskatchewan for the purpose of answering questions from prospective proponents.

There will not be a public opening however the list of firm names who submitted a proposal will be posted to the Sasktenders website.
