SaskPower intends to secure a contract for crane inspection and maintenance for its southern coal fired units and southern gas fired units. All five locations are located in Saskatchewan. The three (3) southern lignite coal fired stations are Boundary Dam Power Station (BDPS), and Shand Power Station (SHPS) located near Estevan, and the Poplar River Power Station (PRPS), located near Coronach. The two (2) natural gas fired stations are Chinook Power Station (CHPS) located near Swift Current, and Great Plains Power Station (GPPS) located near Moose Jaw. The Contractor shall provide SaskPower with labour resources, tools and equipment, materials and supplies to carry out designated Work associated with crane maintenance, such as inspection, maintenance and replacement of bridge cranes, powered hoists, manual hoists, lifting beams and lifting cages for the 5 power stations.
