This Request for Proposal (RFP) is an invitation by the Government of Saskatchewan (GOS), Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) to prospective Proponents to provide Submissions for the provision of Animal Welfare Enforcement Services described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A).
The goal of this competition is to identify and acquire a Proponent or possibly multiple Proponents to act as a third-party agent(s) to enforce The Animal Protection Act, 2018 (Act) in Saskatchewan.
The expected outcomes of the competition are:
• Maintain and function as an independent animal protection agency pursuant to the Act
• Investigating and responding to animal welfare complaints
• Cost savings through reduced usage of government resources; and
• Enhance public trust through transparency and consistent enforcement.
