Saskatchewan Health Authority ("SHA") seeks Bids from qualified contractors to perform the
following work: Construction of a new Emergency Generating Plant and related demolition of existing
facilities as described in the Contract Documents.
 

SUBMISSION DEADLINE
As we are currently dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic globally, for this requirement the SHA will accept
e-mailed submissions, as there are visitor restrictions at our sites. It is the contractor’s sole responsibility
to ensure that your submission is received prior to the closing date and time if you chose to submit
electronically.

4. Bids must be mailed, delivered to or emailed to, and received by, SHA Procurement Representative
at the email address below and arrive before 2:00 p.m. (Saskatchewan Time), July 7, 2020 Packages
to be labelled or email subject line to contain response to “Lloydminster Hospital Emergency
Generator Plant”.

SITE MEETING
20. A mandatory site meeting has been scheduled for June 17, 2020 at the Lloydminster Hospital,
meet at the east parking lot near the ball diamonds. All Bidders are required to attend the site
meeting in order to familiarize themselves with the work site and the true extent of the work.
Bidders are responsible for obtaining all necessary information regarding the work site prior to
preparing and submitting Bids.
21. All Bidders are required to pre-register for designated time slots to ensure the safety of all
Bidders. Time slots will begin at 10:00am and go until 2:00pm Saskatchewan time in 45 minute
increments. Time registrations to be submitted to a SHA Procurement Representative by 5:00pm
(Saskatoon Time) on June 12th, 2020.
22. Site tours will be conducted in groups of 4-6 to help maintain physical distancing when Bidders
are within the building. A maximum of two people per contractor are allowed to attend; names
of both bidding attendees must be registered prior to the site meeting.
23. All Bidders are required to wear face coverings which meet the Health Canada requirements
during the site meeting. It is encouraged each Bidder provide their own face covering, but in the
event a Bidder is unable to provide a face cover, SHA shall provide one.
