WSA is seeking to qualify suppliers onto a roster (the “Qualified supplier Roster”) to perform Dam Safety Reviews (DSRs) as per the Canadian Dam Association Dam (CDA) Safety Guidelines 2007 (Revised 2013); CDA Technical Bulletin: Dam Safety Reviews 2016; and other relevant CDA Technical Bulletins, collectively referred to as the ‘CDA Guidelines’. All services associated with these DSRs, including investigations, inspections, analyses, and any other services shall be completed as per the CDA Guidelines. The DSRs need to clearly reach and identify one of the following conclusions:

• The dam and/or the WSA’s dam safety management clearly meet all safety requirements.
• The dam and/or the WSA’s dam safety management clearly do not meet some safety requirements. A list of deficiencies and recommendations has been provided.
• It is uncertain whether some of the dam safety requirements and/or the WSA’s dam safety management are being met. A list of deficiencies and recommendations has been provided.

WSA is a Treasury Board Crown corporation within the meaning of The Crown Corporations Act, 1993 (Saskatchewan) that is governed by The Water Security Agency Act (Saskatchewan). WSA is responsible for water management in the Province of Saskatchewan, which includes managing the Province’s water supply, protecting water quality, ensuring safe drinking water and the treatment of wastewater, reducing flood and drought damage, protecting aquatic habitat, and managing dams and related supply channels.
