Regarding the Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by Canada Health Infoway on behalf of the Ministry of Health Government of Saskatchewan and certain other purchasers (each, a “Purchaser”) in support of the Deceased Donor Management initiative.

Health Canada has sponsored an ambitious project to modernize the data management and performance reporting systems used to support organ donation and transplantation (ODT) across the country. This project, which is being co-led by Canada Health Infoway and the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI), will improve workflow processes and efficiencies, reduce redundancy in data entry, implement data standardization, and improve data quality, and provide pan-Canadian performance reporting with the ultimate aim to increase organ donation rates, access to transplantation, and improved patient outcomes.
