SaskPower is completing the Residential Smart Meter Deployment Project. This project will see the removal of approximately 470,000 residential power meters total, with approximately 360,000 remaining. The Work included in this Contract is for the physical destruction of a portion of these SaskPower owned residential power meters. To meet Measurement Canada Regulations, the meters removed from residences during the project must be rendered unable to measure power through physical destruction.
